HOMELESS OUTREACH
TUFF's Homeless Outreach initiative is at the heart of our organization's mission. Our goal is to provide food and assistance to eliminate significant threats to those in transitional housing, who are confronted with these challenges on a daily basis, particularly hunger and hygiene. We offer food without questions or restrictions and all are welcomed. With access to the proper resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential, we're just here to give them a helping hand forward.
As with many of our projects, we join together with local neighborhoods to create a welcoming and clean space where residents can take pride in their city and surroundings. Alongside other community leaders and organizations like the TDA and the City of Trenton we strategize and implement block and street clean-up's. We believe we are apart of the change, contact us for calendar dates and our next Clean Up.
COMMUNITY CLEAN UP's
PARTYING
SOBER
EVENT
TUFF is all in on the fight to end addiction. Our annual PARTYING SOBER EVENT features resources, food, vendors, give-a-ways, testimonials from those in recovery, and most of all MUSIC. Substance abuse is not an easy challenge to overcome but through empowerment and working together it can be defeated. This dialogue is ongoing and a vital part of our organization's fight to provide those looking to start the path of recovery with the help they need. We invite you to learn more about this event and become a vendor or speaker!
TUFF BACKPACK GIVEAWAY
Our annual backpack giveaway, which has been repeated by many others was one of our earliest initiatives. Our goal was to supply our local students with all the supplies they needed for the school year at no cost to parents. Since then we have assisted those newly migrated into the country, at risk youth, and families with multiple children for over a decade. Please join us in August if you or someone you know can use a few school supplies to start the academic year off right.
